high torque and speed servo
« on: August 22, 2013, 04:04:32 PM »

    Hi all'

I'm building an rc car (a real car not a toy car) with an FPV system
and I'm using an ordinary servo motor to control the three pedals of my car but the proplem is that my servo motors are
too weak ond too slow to push the pedals

so if any of you guys know any website that sells the proper strong fast kind
servo motors please send me the link of your suggested servos and if you know
any similar project please send me its link

the servo must produce about 140 kg.cm according to my calculation but I can use two servos
for each pedal so this number could be divided by 2

if my calculation is too wrong by your opinion please tell me

    accuracy is my motto

    don't let me down

Would it not make sense to control throttle from the engine cable rather than the peddle?

Id look up linear actuators. More for the job your thinking.

One for the brake pedal, and two servos for the clutch and throttle cables maybe?
