Kindle fire HD video playback?

I have a Kindle fire HD and we take it camping with us. I also take my Quadcopter with me for a spot of FPV flying, on board I also have the keychain camera to record my flights on to a 32gig memory card but is there any way I can watch my videos back on my Kindle? I should also mention that I know very little about computers so technical jargon is lost on me!

As far as I'm aware, there's no SD card slot on a Kindle Fire HD, so you cant just slot the SD card from the camera into the Kindle.

If you have a laptop with you, you can transfer the footage from the SD card to the kindle using the kindle's data cable.

Then go to the Google Play store and find a video app called MX player... it plays pretty much anything

should be able to watch the vids then.
