Were they your first solo jumps, or have you been before?

Where you all told to smile at the camera?
Just wondered if it was a rule about not looking down, nobody seemed to?

it's all about the body position when it hits the airflow.

if your head is pointing to the ground, then your body naturally follows. You want your head pointing up to the aircraft when you leave it and arch your body backwards so you hit the airflow in the right "shape".

you notice the people who dont do this get spun around or just "tumble"... well when the canopy opens above your head if you're not in the right position then you could twist your lines or worse... get tangled up in them.

the first word of command is "In the door!" self explanatory
the second is "Look up!"
the final is "Go!"
