First ever paddle and we went from Mumbles to Langland Bay and back, that's about 10km in total, not bad for someone who hasn't done anything to keep fit for more years than I can remember

Oh yes and after 52 years of living you'd think I'd know that a combination of legs that haven't seen daylight in 20 years, a forecast of hot hot hot and 3/4 length legging would mean that I need sunblock on more than just my ears wouldn't you

Never Kayaked myself but did a load of sailing in my younger days, well until the greed started back in the 90's and the cost of moorings became prohibitive down here...

Ity turns out that my mate tracked the journey with his logger and we did 10.2km
Oddly I don't ache one little bit, just my shins are a little sore

Oh yes and that's me surfing the kayak in the pics above, just seconds before I went under
