Ok so i rebuild my quad and was eager to get out FPVing
I was having a reasonable flight when the thing just flipped over and crashed ! Voiltage was OK at 3.9v per cell after the crash. In my eagerness to get out flying i hadnt recalibrated the sensors on the KK but surely if that was out it wouldnt have flown for 3mins??
Broke all four props and thats all but i dont want a repeat performance. Any ideas?

Fault symptomatic of a short circuit to an ESC control cable! And do I hear a servo on that quad ?

Yeah stinks of dodgy connection somewhere, I'd start by looking at the back right motor/esc first

To reduce the likelihood of a repeat performance do what you can to minimise cable chaff and examine all exposed insulation after a crash. Expect shards of broken blades to cut something somewhere.

Thanks for the comments .
I had a spare lower board so used that. Does it sound as if there is a servo on board ? because there isn't .
Also should I disconnect the red lead from the esc on motor 2,3 and 4?

Yes, I hear the sound of a servo hunting around centre.
Not necessary to disconnect red on KK.

I think it is the Frsky receiver as others have heard a hunting sort of noise.

Omg - don't know if you can see in the pic but the pre soldered bullets on the motors must have been done with warm carrot instead of a soldering iron - another lesson learnt ! Guess which motor this is !!

no problem, easy enough to identify the offending arm just see what one drops first
done it on Phil's disco a few times.

.....better off removing all bullets anyhow and soldering direct.
