Took delivery of another 4S 3000 nano-tech today for the QAV500 ordered last Friday (not picked until Mon).

... couldnt really find a more perfectly sized and weighted replacement from HK so gonna give em another shot.

Some of the nano-tech weights are wrong. The 2650 zippy spec says 290g is that the actual weight?

The 2650 nano-tech actually weighs in at 282g, the 3000 at 299g (+17g on 2650) and the 3300 at 333g (+34g up on 3000 and +51g up on 2650), so for the nano-techs the 3000 appears to be the ideal size.

Nano-tech a few $ cheaper, but has 4mm bullet rather than XT-60.

I went right off the nano techs after my 4s 2700 65c ones both went puffy very quickly, gave me loads of voltage sag and didnt perform. Maybe I will try them again next time, btw these weigh 300g with the xt60 (which I had to fit myself)

4S nano-tech's also require XT-60's fitting, all weights above are with XT60's. The only nano-tech I've had overheat and puff on me was a baby 3S 180. I've seen the occasional voltage drop on 3S and 4S while going vertical at max throttle on Tri & QAV, but not with a smaller quad. I'm staying away from the zippy's based on the recent problems others have had, but may experiment with others when I dump the rctimer pancakes for something better.

Today the postman brought a clear 400mm Acrylic Tube 13mm OD and 9mm ID.

the "normal" Zippy flight max LiPos have always done me good, I think the recent issues have been with the Zippy Compact range.

I've had one explode and so has Cupid Stunt... (also used to be mine ooops)
