What did the postman bring you today?

Thought we could start a thread where we post what fpv/rc goodies the postman/courier brings us, one way of keeping tabs on what everybody else is using too

Well today he bought me a CMQ1993X from SC2000 with a 2.8mm lense and I also bought the metal case

The CMQ1193X is the IR filter version of the popular PZ0420, this version has better colours but isnt as good as a night flier. Previously I had the PZ0420 on the Funjet but it broke in a failed launch hense the reason for casing it up this time. However this time its going on a quad, Im pulling off a seawolf weighing 61grams. The weight of the CMQ in the metal case is 52grams so not a massive weight saving.

today, the postman brought me a letter from Google, saying they'd like to pay me my AdSense money in the form of advertising for my website... meh, no ta... plain ol' cash will do thanks

Hoping he'll bring me something a bit more FPV related tomorrow.... then that's me putting a ban on spending for a while... no... seriously guys... I can't do it anymore

Postie occured today with Imax B6, KK blackboard, 3motors and hobbwing esc's, mg90s servo, pack of 8x4 props.
just waiting for prop adaptors and  lipo alarm now, then its off to B&Q for a length of 10.0x 12.5 pine

Insurance Co approved payment on all the damages

Fortunately a lot of the stuff in the garage was efectively obsolete RC gear which was why some of it was in the garage anyway, some lost stuff that was brand new ready for projects

I'll be getting a new garage roof, new electrics including the mains in the house, new window, fully cleaned and painted garage interior as well as around £1,400 worth of RC gear money to replace the lost goodies (much of which I won't replace immediately anyway like my Xaircraft X650)

Amazing how those hot/poisinous gasses just eat away some metals, even the screws on my Pixim Seawolf went rusty, the motor shafts on my quad along with every single hex bolt on the quad, other metals out there were fine, very odd indeed

Postie occured today with Imax B6

Remember DO NOT LEAVE BATTERIES UNATTENDED WHEN CHARGING !

It was an Imax B6 charging a Zippy Compact 4S that caught fire, will never know which one was to blame
The battery was being balance charged at less than 0.5c rate (1 amp charge rate)
