Not sure if you guys have seen this but DJI have launched the Naza-Lite

http://www.dji-innovations.com/product/naza-m-lite/

Prices rumoured to be around £140 INCLUDING gps!!  That's a stunning price for what essentially is a normal V1 naza.

Just to put this in the right perspective, at least from First person view, It costs:
£120. plus Vat = £144, plus cheapest Shipping = £149.90 near as dammit £150

And what does the "light" version lack that the £180 (without the £130 gps) "M" version has? Doesn't say but it must be something!

The major difference from what I can tell is the lite version is not expandible, whereas the V1 can have the V2 add-ons bolted on.

£144 from the sponsors of this forum

http://quadcopters.co.uk/dji-naza-m-lite-and-gps-combo-759-p.asp

as long as it has the brilliantly performing position and altitude hold of the original NAZA, and it supports quads... then for the money it's bloody brilliant.

DIY Drones APM2.5 will cost you more than that, and as both I and Cupid Stunt found out to our peril.. it's by no means as plug n play as the NAZA equipment

hehe, main reason I was put off multirotors was because I simply couldn't get to grips with piloting them... the KK2.0 is a good board for the money, but really it's only benefit was that it was a cheap "autolevel" capable board.

unfortunately just the autolevel wasn't enough for my crap piloting skills.

something as cheap as this... GPS module included, RTH, Failsafe, home lock, altitude hold, GPS position hold.... it's brilliant for someone wanting to get into multis.

add in the easy setup... you can't really go wrong with this.
