z11 radio settings

Hi All,
Tried to maiden my z11 today with no joy. Does anyone know what duel rates/expo to use to start off with. I've also got my cofg at 9 and half inches from the front.Is this right?
Ant advice would be great

What does "No Joy" mean? What went wrong? launching? flying?

you should first be asking how much movement there is in full stick for aileron and elevator on the trailing edge of the elevons, as rates alone wont help much as other factors will alter difference between your rates and someone elses like which servo horn hole is used etc, Im sure its only about 10-12mm up/down so start with that maybe have a dual rates switch to dumb it down a little should it be to much for you, I fly my zeps with about 40% expo. They can be a tricky beast to get airbourne I have converted to full power overhead self launch since my zep2 was built

PS dont forget some reflex, up elevator as the zep will nose down if the elevon is perfectly level with the wing, maybe 3mm ish up
