I got some disc magets off ebay, you know, the ones for canopy retainers etc. Well, impressed with how powerful they were, stuck them in my pocket (in a plastic bag) and went off to show some friends.
When I pulled the bag out of my pocket, to my surprise there was a string of money attached to the bag! Coins MAGNETIC! Since when have coppers, and even silver coins become magnetic?

I reconstructed this in the attached pic but the 5p (silver?) coins I have here now wouldn't work, so were the ones that did work countfeit or just plain modern iron with a bit of silver bling on them! I don't know!

Oh yea, and it fooked the magnetic strip up on my credit card so no more rc toys for me until I get it replaced!

Yeah they have been magnetic for a few years. Got a little bit of iron in them now. Makes it cheaper to produce.
