Yup flew on it today, don't forget to calibrate gyros after you update
I didn't do it and when I flicked self level on in flight it flipped 45deg and crashed

My tri spontaneously flipped 45 degrees or so while on it's first v1.6 flight in rate!
With nothing to lose, I flipped the AUX switch and miraculously it stabilised. It landed safely, but then found it wouldn't take off again. The board wouldn't respond to a disarm command. The 30 sec auto disarm was counting down and the servo was hunting around centre as it does, all appeared to be OK, juts no throttle response for a full 20 secs, thereafter it flew again without incident and on to a second battery without incident. Weird! Not sure I trust it yet. My Tri may have developed a fault, however, it was flying well on 1.5 acro yesterday.

One of my KK2's seemed to do a simular thing when it dumped my micro quad on the grass for no reason.
Unplugged battery/reconnected and flew the pack out along with the 2 other packs with no problem.
Everytime I reflash a kk2 the first or second flight always seem to have a weird unrelated glitch.

Tricopter flying like a banshee on v1.6 crashed again yesterday. Done some digging...
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=23163622&postcount=5994
"During prolonged looping, flipping and high angle sport flying the KK2 may lose its bearing of the up and down direction and not keep level when self-level is turned on, especially if the KK2 experiences a temperature change since the last arming. Land and re-arm to fix this, no need to disarm first." -- kapteinkuk
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1675613&page=139&pp=100#post25062618
"Regarding Self-level that looses its bearing after flying for a while:
This is a vibration problem. Get rid of the vibrations!
Also rapid flipping exceeding the rate of the gyros will cause this." -- kapteinkuk
KK2.0 recalibration every other flight
http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread.php?13396-KK2.0-recalibration-every-other-flight
"You really need to get it flying in Normal 1st otherwise its going to act weird.
Tune the P gains then the I gains then Autolevel.
Also remember if you use auto level and tip over a certain point it may go nuts, switch back to normal in that case." -- panzlflyer

Subsequent to the above, I had another crash a couple of weeks later after I forgot to up my stick scaling and wrote my Tricopter off in it's entirety, but nothing to do with 1.6 per se. Parts are on order to rebuild another, including a replacement KK2, and when that arrives I'll be putting 1.6 on it again.

Used the default FW v1.2 that came installed in the KK2 and couldn't get any sensible tuning, either manual or SL. Would fly but as if it needed tuning, sl never really worked at all. Today installed v1.6 totally different, two batteries and it was tuned out and fly very well in manual, SL was pretty good too for a cheap board.
