Wanted - 5.8GHz patch prefer RHCP if possible.

As per the title looking for a 5.8GHz patch antenna, right hand CP preferred.

I think these may be the same simon sells but they have shot up in price from last year when i priced them up more than double

Yes found that site and was trying to weigh up the risk of customs vrs the cost from Simon - I suspect if I cant get a second hand one I might buy one from Simon.  Going to try building a helical antenna first though.

Forget the 5.8Ghz patch, they are seriously overpriced and from the research I did when I got my 5.8 gear is that they arent that great.  Have you considered a 5.8Ghz helical antenna?  Much more bang for your buck and good range too.  I have a 7 turn from hugo over at true rc http://www.truerc.net/canada/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_32_41&products_id=169  Ofcourse you can build your own very easily I was just busy and lazy so bought one.  It is a far more viable option than the patch

Boy's they have arrived and they look the out of the world well worth the £80 the camera is flat so pictures will be up tomorrow
