Video editing

What are you guys using for editing your videos I'm currently using Sony vegas I do find it quite complicated what are the alternatives out in terms of ease of use.

I have just started using vegas too, its a steep learning curve but worth it.

windows movie maker is pretty simple mark just for cutting and slicing and adding some music

I use Final Cut Pro 7 ,because X is crap and I don't like how to cooperate with motion 5
Also like motion 5 but this one don't handle with FCP 7 so I use
Final Cut pro 7 and motion 4...or when I'm lazy iMovie easy and simple.

AND WHY I LIKE MOTION 3/4/5 AND FPC WELL THIS IS EXAMPLE WHAT CAN YOU DO ,JUST USE YOUR IMAGINATION..

Vegas 10 here as well. Hate the almost infinite processing time but does the job well. Had used Adobe After Effects a couple of times as well but that's a mind twister.

I use cyberlink powerdirector 9

cyberlink pd9 for recording from easycap, but windows movie maker because its dead simple and free

my main reason for buying powerdirector was that my laptop refused to import just certain sections of video from my HD camcorder (it's miniDV) and insisted on the whole blooming tape, so if I had 2 mins I wanted near the end of a tape, I had to capture an hours footage, which also meant editing took forever whilst movie maker indexed the bloody thing.

Now I've got it though, it's absolutely great. Get used to it quickly and can do some fairly nice/powerful stuff.
