Gens Ace 3000mah battery

These have been getting rave reviews so thought I'd get one to try out on the tricopter, see if it gives me some more flight time without too much additional weight.

I ordered a couple of Gens Ace 3300 4S for my Zephyr. Heard a lot of good things and £33 each they were a steal.

Nobody here use Hobbyking for lipos?  I really rate their nano-tech packs

My 5000mah 6S packs (4 of em) for my Trex600 came from hobbyking, as did my 2.2 3S turnigy's. I wanted this in a slightly shorter time period, that's all really.

I always use Hobby King, I currently have a load of nanotech and turnigy, had no problems really. I am experiencing one weak pack recently but thats out over 15 lipos

I have 8 6s 3300mah packs for my 500esp that are all zippy packs and another 6 3s 2200mah for my 450 and probably 20-30 assorted packs that are either flightmax zippy rhino or nanotech and so far I havent managed to puff one or have any packs that wont balance etc.  I seldom let my packs go below 3.8v/cell and I think that really makes them last  Its just the wait that kills me when I order them.  I normally order enough to make EMS worth while

I got a couple but the power dropped off quickly, maybe cos they were only 20c rated and I possible abused them a little but it knocked my faith in them and I wont be getting any more.

Bugger They weren't too expensive and seem to get good reports off giantcod.

I'll be running 2x4000 in parallel and probably max out at 60a which is only 7.5c... so won't be abusing them too much.
