This is the first test of the recording feature of my Archos 605 WiFi (4GB version). I bought this specifically for the purposes of FPV Ground Station recording. I'm using a 2.5mm 4-pole jack (from GoPro) to the 3.5mm 4-pole jack of the Archos 605 WiFi.

As you can see, it's a very dull late October day here in Wiltshire, but still, I think the video is good enough to see the quality of the recording.

I have the GoPro set to r3 which is 720p, but the live TV out is 4:3 format with letter-box
I have the Archos set to record 16:9 which crops the letterbox
I also have the Archos set to record at 2500kbps bitrate (it's highest setting)

I pointed the GoPro towards the sky and the ground quickly to see how the light levels transitioned. I then did some fast horizontal sweeps to check how it handles fast movement.

youtube has killed the quality a tad
