The 60fps more or less removes any blurring which is the big thing for us!
Just need the 120 max fov to get rid of the distortion.
A lot of money though...

HERO3: Black Edition - 30% smaller. 25% lighter. 2X faster processor. 4X higher resolution.

Cupid's already mentioned.... who in this hobby would actually "need" anything higher resolution than 1080p. Heck, SkyHD boxes are only capable of 720p (and 1080i)

Well the current GoPro (can only speak for hero1) ha ssome serious drawbacks
Poor dynamic range
Blurring on fast video on all but 60 fps
Ridiculously wide fov
Emits electrical noise

Good point is that its almost unbreakable (in its case)

If you fly it out of its case then any camera will do, sony Bloggie or something capable at half the price!
Kind of balancing out what results you want I suppose...

I'd say the decision comes down to what you'll be using the camera for. If you're planning to do shoots for clients and productions which will end up on Blu-ray or high capacity storage then this is an obvious choice. However if you're using it for FPV with the intention on sharing footage via YouTube, Vimeo, etc. -I don't see any reason to upgrade other than slow-mo capabilities. Once you edit, compress, and export, your movie has taken a considerable hit in quality. When it's uploaded and processed by YouTube/Vimeo, the quality has been chewed up so badly that it really doesn't matter how great your source file was.
