chainlink with 2.4g

Hi all,
It might be a daft question that I'm going to ask. I've just bought a chainlink that is ready to use with my dx8. now the question is. Does it still use the the 2.4g frequency? only asking as i've got fvp goggles that run 2.4g and 5.8g and got told that you would get a better range on the 2.4g than 5.8g. Sorry if it's a daft question.

Hi. depends how you connect it to your rc tx. you should dusable 2.4 rc if you want to fly 2.4 ghz vid.

chainlink is 433mhz so no problems , if you are using 2.4 for video make sure you disable 2.4 from radio , or you will get speckles in video

assuming you are using the trainer port on your Dx8, it should be fine.
