crazy cheap DVR solution

OK, I will admit that I'm fairly sceptical about this myself, but the seller shop on amazon has 95% positive rating and the purchase is actually fulfilled by Amazon.co.uk itself.

I was scanning ebay for a DVR solution, heard some people had good experiences with the Archos 605, including some people on here.

found a few items starting at around £35 for the 4GB version up to £100 for the 30 and 80GB versions.

So I thought I'd google the 605 wifi to find the manual, see what else I needed to record AV in (DVR docking station aparently) and that's when I saw the google shopping link saying "£30 online". I clicked out of curiosity and found this:

brand new for £29.99, fulfilled by Amazon no less.

I've taken the punt, but for £30, 2 year warranty, protected via Amazon's reputation and free delivery it must be worth it.

if you get docking station i has usb port so you cam plug in external harddrive / flash drive

so its realy not bad its 4gb cos there is options if you want more storage

ive used a 80gb 504 for ages now and they work well but with a bit of luck the 4gb one will have a soilid state drive in it , much better if it gets a nock

yup, i managed to find a DVR Travel adapter on eBay for a tenner (i made sure it was for generation 5 archos players) so all in £40 for a brand spanking new DVR with screen.
