Hey everyone, I know some of you have been waiting for this so here is my take on the 7W booster available from Flytron.com.

What to get:
1x 7W Booster:

2x power wires for your power supply

1x casing for the booster (Malpins ?)

Things to consider:
Optimal power input for this booster is 50mw!
Anything bigger than that would require you to use an attenuator.
Not doing that would result in massive current draw from your power supply and more likely burn out the booster's MOSFET.

If using the openLRS, be sure to use my booster friendly firmware (1.5 or 2.0) and check in the config.h that define BOOSTER is 1

A bit about my setup:

I'm powering the booster from my TX's battery through the trainer port on my Futaba FF9.

I'm using the second switching supply that incorporates a voltage meter. This way I can monitor how much volts are going to my booster and also monitor my tx's battery.

Using the crappy 433Mhz antennas I managed to get 1.5Km ground range (0.5m off the ground haha) through a hill, buildings, trees etc. Booster was set to minimum (4v to the booster)
