The RVJET will be in stock around the date March 1, 2013.
The standard kit includes:
2 x 25kg torque digital metal gear wing servos
2 x metal gear 260 degree rotation pan/tilt servos.
RVPNT gimbal and 3 spare clear domes
Motor mount, skid, carbon fiber rods plus all other CF reinforcements ), servo control horns, pre-bent steel rods and linkages.
The packaging box is designed for transport.

The power package is sold separately. It includes a very high quality 1200kV motor, best quality ESC 65A with adjustable SBEC,, 50 mm aluminum spinner and 12 x 6 folding prop.

We did our best to deliver the best quality kit all around. No corners were cut to save a few bucks. I hope everyone will be really happy when they receive the kits.

We will make a press release with all the model numbers and prices towards the end of the week.

Yeah that what I was thinking, trying to sell you a load of stuff you dont need. Hopefully they will sell the barebones kit so to speak. Would rather supply my own servo's and stuff.

Looks like those scoundrels at Hobbyking have been planning a clone of the RVJET already and are even hoping to release their before the RVJet goes on sale

A bit scummy if you ask me

To be fair there's quite a few differences - centre section looks to be a different shape, yes it has two fins and a very similar looking camera pod but that's about it. Wonder if it has the skid in the bottom....

Wings also look a different shame, plus the wing fences. Fins are significantly different.

In all honesty it looks more like an X8 had an illegitimate love child with a RVjet. I think you can quite fairly say HK have taken ideas from the RVjet, but I wouldn't call it a clone.

For what it's worth I think the RVjet looks better

RVjet looks like it has a central "pod" shaped fuselage, with wings sticking out... the HK clone looks more like a flying wing with a dome at the front

I think it's the dome at the front and the fins that make it very similar to the RVjet.

In all honesty, I won't be buying either.... ever....

But I think Cupid is right, HK have clearly taken advantage of the slow development and release of the RVjet by coming up with their own version... I bet it'll hit the mass market before the RV one does too.

If i was in the market for a full on FPV machine, I'd go for the new carbon boom skywalker, or the sky hunter
