I bought some ABS which is tougher I think than the standard PLA although Im new to all this TBH so just winging it LOL

yeah its big, by all accounts a very capable machine. Kids have already been threatened to behave or be replaced by a 3d print, also offered to 3d print them a mouth piece to keep em quiet!

from what ive read ben pla has its uses in modelling its slightly more flexible for some things , but abs is heavier and much stiffer , but there is other materials with that machines as things move on

Just got to hook all the wires up to the control board and fit the hot end which is currently setting (got to leave it 24hrs) might even get a print off tomorrow if I give it a few hours after work
