the only thing you need to do is find a way to mount the ezuhf or dragon link to your orange rx

why would he need to mount the ezuhf or the dragonlink to his rx? they come with their own receivers

orange rx is the name of the transmitter so its the orange rx tx

ya the trainer port is right in the middle. i just didnt know what style plug it is and if i could get one for it that would work for the radio. so what i was still wondering there too is is if the radio is now good, what sort of video components shoud i get? just anything in the 1.2 range would be sufficient? again i apologize for asking so much i just wanna know what i should be getting before i go out and get stuff and regret it. i have the fatshark RCV922 goggles which is of course 5.8 and i got the immersionRC 600mw Tx on the way didnt know if these would still be ok or just be safe to upgrade now. thanks again everyone!!!

thank you haha, i mean i not that simple but i am getting lost in the sauce a bit. im sure it would be easier to just get a Futaba or Spektrum radio but i do like mine now, and i really like the fatshark setup but just wasnt sure how it would work on range with something else. from what i saw i will have to either way build a base station which i am not at all apposed to...

orangeRX this is full name of that Transmitter from HK ..lol that confuse me a lot.

1.Now did you ever fly planes ,wings or anything ?
2.Typical newbie questions - I read ,will buy and fly miles.
3. It's not that easy ,you need to know how to build plane, wing ,what goes where.
4.UHF + 1.2 video gear for LR flights !

also If you never fly FPV - everything from above looks bit different ,so OSD is a must for You and learn to read that first during flight.

yes haha i know it all newbie questions. my friend has been flying for years now and has been teaching me ALOT about everything with planes. i didnt just wanna jump right into FPV but i watched several videos while on my deployment and i just knew i had to get setup with it. i like my setup now i just would like to know what i need for the longer flights i plan to make in the future, doesnt hurt to buy the stuff now so when i am comfortable going further later i can. no i do not plan to do anything much further than LOS (even if it VERY TINY) until the spring arrives. so ya pretty much all im still asking is piece by piece what ppl think i should get. i just want to know what brand is good, not worried bout price. i am trying not to be that newb that goes out and buys a ton of stuff that ends up not working and has a pile of stuff that wont work, that why i posted the original question haha. weather is starting to turn here ( i live in Western New York on lake erie) and daylight hours are getting less and less. come winter im not sure how much FPV i will be doing, i know my friends fly in the winter still but dont think the cold would be good for the equipment on the plane of course...

I WAS that noob who got steered in the wrong direction with regards to what kit to use.

scaremongery and outright hypocracy was used to sway me in the direction of buying certain kit from specific outlets.... outlets that had strong assocciations with the people making the suggestions.

That's one of the many reasons that fpv-forum.co.uk exists, to give the right information without any bias

Couldn't have said it better Chris. FPVUK cost and lost me a fortune on waste of time gear.
