Yes you're right
I do see that you have yours on "Darker" for exposure though
In the video it just didn't seem to be adjusting for differing light levels at all

Thing is , is that on a sunny day you can't fault the results. And carrying a laptop around to adjust levels according to the weather isn't practical. Just uploading a bit of video taken in poor light, it's virtually unusable, but illustrates the bad metering on it, Not complaining, don't think the gopro would be much better under these conditions.
Evening light, low cloud, rain threatening, only light source the horizon, cam can't  compensate, fov so huge that the horizon light is nearly always in view. When it's not then the video gets reasonable and the colours get better.

bigMouse, the #16 is much better than if you set it to Normal instead of Darker

I have the #16 808 with the 120deg lens and I find the video recording to be superb but I am also using the video out facility for FPV and the live video is nowhere near as good as the recorded footage! When I play back the video it is great, anybody else found this? I am using Fatshark goggles on 5.8ghz.
Thanks, Ian

Record and playback video is at 720p  HD. The video out facility is half hd quality (and even if it was better it would get reduced to 640 X 480 at the fatsharks.

No way around it I'm afraid! You can improve the video your using for flying by using a separate flight cam, I did a test and even the 1 gram micro cam had much clearer output than the #16 video out.
Best would be the pixim seawolf but that is bigger and heavier, there are several choices in between though.
