433 or 459 ????

Hi all,
Noob 'ere and draggin up a bit of an old thread but thought it might be relevant to the discussion.

If the EZuhf UK FW is limited to 100mw has anyone attempted to "have a little look" at the code to see what they can see?

Also does the 100mw restriction apply to everyone or do Ham licence holders have a different limit?

Yes the 459 fw is limited to 100mw , the high power mode switch does not increase the output

what power is the hardware capable of transmitting?

I think Ezuhf is 600watts on high power and 200 on low when using 433 firmware.

Thats coz they have the best receiver possible i guess lol.


I thought the EZ in 459 was 70mw (or 80, cant remember) on low and 100mw on high power?

No it's 100mw regardless of which way the switch is set
